Thailand Trip Experience & Review : Gowthami Reddy Daka
A Perfectly Planned Thailand Trip with Go Buddy Adventures! We had an incredible 7-day trip to Thailand, all thanks to Go Buddy Adventures! Anvesh did a fantastic job customizing our itinerary to match our preferences, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience. From suggesting the best hotels to curating unique experiences, he went the extra mile to make our trip truly special.
Everything was well-organized, and we received updates and details well in advance. What stood out the most was Anvesh’s constant support throughout the trip, he was always available to assist with any concerns or communication needs. Among all the options we considered, Go Buddy Adventures was undoubtedly the best choice. If you’re looking for a seamless and well-planned travel experience, we highly recommend them!
Notes to Remember:
• Get an international driving license before going
• Prefer to book a Grab instead of local transport (Tuk Tuk) as it’s a cheaper option – Phuket/Bangkok. Rent bike in Krabi
• Food is quite expensive if you eat out, especially in India Restaurant. Better be prepared for this known expense.
• Try to use 7 eleven stores for better costs, buy your water, chips everything from here
• Carry umbrella if planning to go to in the morning or afternoon as it is very sunny (Summer season)
• Also carry rain jackets or buy one there, may be a cheaper version, in case if rains it would be helpful. Also rain proof phone cover is a must as most of the time is spent in Water.
• Pack mostly summer wear or breathable cloths to beat the summer waves and water-resistant sandals
• Carry your own cigarettes as Thai cigarettes are worst
• Try to book for massages/tattoos in advance if you are a massage/Tattoo lover
• Follow timing as per the instructions given by the guide (Don’t be late)
• Try to pack less luggage and take some snacks (optional)

BLR to Phuket
Morning Indigo flight 6AM >>> Reach Phuket >>> Cab will come and pick up (private cab)
Fishermann Hotel – No room service of food, hence be prepared with own options for food
Day-1 From airport to Hotel and rest of the day free for own exploration of nightlife/beaches/food/massages
Day-2 8AM pickup to Phi Phi islands – very long journey by speed boat – recommend to take motion sickness tablet if you have sea sickness. Return by evening (6-7PM) and rest of the evening is free for own exploration Day-3 View point/Temple Visit/Gem stone Gallery – enroute to Krabi from Phuket by road (10.30 start time – 5/6 PM you will reach Krabi)
• Room is good but would recommend not to eat at their restaurant as its expensive and not worth eating there. (Smoking available in Balcony)
• At least 1-2 types of North Indian Food available for Breakfast (BF). Rice is also an option BF.
• Walkable distance to a small local market (food, cloths, drinks everything is available here).
• Nightlife for bachelors/men group – Bangla Street, if couple are open minded and want to explore more, they can go here
• Goto beach near Bangla street and explore more.
• You have good Indian Restaurants near Bangla street, do try if you are craving for it (1000-1500 Thai Bhat) • Phi Phi islands could be tiring hence proper rest needed before going here > pack fast drying cloths. Lunch is not good here, recommend to be prepared and try other otpions.

Krabi – Hula Hula Hotel
Day-3 Reach Krabi by evening and rent a bike (available opp. to Hula Hula) and explore the rest of the day on your own.
Day-4 7 island tour (from afternoon to evening) and explore rest of the evening by your own
Day-5 Krabi to Bangkok (DMK) airport and explore rest of the evening by your own.
• Room is good and we have got the one with the bathtub, good experience. Room service is not that great. Complementary BF, veg/egg fried rice and dishes with eggs available which can be preferable for Indians
• Goto Anong beach in Thailand , it is so peaceful and less crowded. Explore more night life and food on streets
• 7 island tour – these islands are more peaceful than Phi Phi, but mostly they would not cover all the 7 islands. Must try the sunset on the beach (find some supermarkets in the island and buy some booze and snacks and enjoy the sunset). If you want to experience Bio Luminance then do not go near to Full moon time as they won’t be visible during full moon
• Less crowded place and best for couples and family.

Bangkok – Grand Mercure Atrium
Day-5 Reach Bangkok and explore rest of the evening by your own.
Day-6 Evening cruise (4pm-11pm), rest of the day explore on your own.
Day-7 Check out room and back to BLR

• The Hotel is great with exceptional room service. (Try their Chicken Dum biryani)
• Goto shopping in the evening only to avoid sun
• Dinner cruise is not a good experience as we lose a lot of time here, if you have plenty of time, then you can try it for experience
• Try to check timings of different markets for shopping – there are a lot of things hence it could be confusing and it might take more time than expected
• Platinum Mall has high prices, hence would recommend Pratunam day/night market
• Visit Chatuchak Weekend Market for sure.
